Photo Challenge: My Northeast
With the goal of spreading a positive image of the region from Hearst to Smooth Rock Falls and its communities, the Settlement Services are launching a photo contest with the theme:​

“My charming and welcoming community”

Your photo must show an aspect of your community (Hearst, Mattice-Val Côté, Opasatika, Val Rita-Harty, Kapuskasing, Moonbeam, Fauquier-Strickland or Smooth Rock Falls), and must present something that encourages people to move to the region.

To participate, participants must share their photo, in high definition, to the following email address: monnordest@uhearst.ca.

A grand prize valued at $100 will be awarded to the winner! Participation prizes valued at $25 each will be granted to one participant from every other community.
Eligible people: Everyone - newcomers and the general public
Contest duration: June 11th to August 31st, 2021

The photo must represent the theme “My charming and welcoming community”.

When you submit your photo by email, please indicate the title of the photo, the community in which it was taken and the name of the participant.
